Story
Started as a private railway in 1900. Was incorporated in BR in 1948, but closed in 1961. Already in 1974 it was reopend as a historical railway. The Kent & East Sussex Railway stretches over 10 ½ miles between Tenterden and Bodiam stations and visitors of all ages will love the excitement of travelling on one of the finest rural light railways.
