Story
In the Meetjesland there has been tourist railway traffic since 1990. Halfway through the eighties, some railway enthusiasts that already practised railway modeling wanted to extend their hobby to full scale. After acquiring knowledge on a 60 cm narrow gauge on the section Maldegem-Donk of the old railway to Bruges, they started exploiting the standard gauge on the section Maldegem-Eeklo of the old railway to Ghent. Later on they bought all buildings of the abandoned NMBS station in Maldegem. This site now breathes the past in all its aspects.
