Formarly known as Pierwsza Fabryka Lokomotyw w Polsce SA, the first locomotive factory in Poland. During the WW II the factory became part of the Henschel-concern. The name Fablok is commonly used, as it is an abbreviation of Fabryka Lokomotyw (locomotive factory).
