Story
Engine of the same type as the WW II Class DRG52. However produced new just after the war in Poland and taken into service by the Polish national railroad. As this engine was new, it was assigned to the Ty42 class. Engines which were originally German were assigned to the Ty2 class.

Remarks | Class 52 was a redesigned version of the class 50, specially for war-time services. It used fewer and less expensive parts to speed up production. Over 7000 engines were made. |
