Story

Together with 6023 this engine was used for bridge testing, just before she was about to be scrapped. That made here end up at Barry Island. From here it was sold to the King Preservation Society (later 6024 Preservation Society). A legal dispute made the society had to sell the engine. It is however still ran by the 6024 society.
