Story
No.88/53808 is owned by the Somerset & Dorset Railway Trust (SDRT), based on the West Somerset Railway. Purchased for preservation in 1969, it returned to service following restoration in August 1987 in BR Black. The second overhaul of the engine started in 2014 and was completed in 2016. The egine was now wearing BR Black with number 53808.
